I began custom framing in 1988 when my two daughters were both of school age and life at home was a bit boring. So it was with the encouragement and help of my family, I took a huge step and ventured into the world of self-employment. I started in a small location just off of main street in the fall when school started and stayed there for almost five years. I then moved onto main street in 1993, expanding into a gallery and now three locations later, I own my own building, adding a gift shop to the scheme of things and am busier than ever. I find this community to be charming and full of life and I attribute my 20+ years in business to their overwhelming support.
I love the variety of things people bring in to be framed and their treasures are as important to me as if they were my own. Why did I decide to start up a framing business in a little town in the middle of the prairie? Well, I am an artist, first of all and I love to play with everyone else's artwork and there were no other framing businesses within 50-75 miles around here, but when I think back, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing the smile on someone's face as they walk out the door with a framed treasure that was once buried at the bottom of a dresser drawer. We all have memories and treasures and beautiful things that we can and should display and my wish is for you to bring them in and let's bring them to life once more.
